Fitting Your New Unit
This should be very easy. All you do basically is take the tubing out of your old filter and push them into your new one.

More About The Female Connector
The female connection type is where the tube fits directly into the filter.
Our female connection filters are designed to fit plastic water tubes / hosing a quarter inch ie 6.4 mm outside diameter.
This is the size of the great majority of plastic tubing for water filters.
However if your tube size is different, no problem. We can supply adaptors. Simply let us know either before or after you order.
If you are not sure of your tube size you can simply order the filter now. We will help you sort out the adapters later. They will still be free. We'll send them out immediately. It really is very simple.

Need to remove more contaminants?
This is a great filter and usually does what most people in the UK need. Its performance is the same as the old Lamona filter.
However, if you want to remove a specific contaminant, and cannot see it in the table above - for example fluoride, hormones, heavy metals, and so on - then you probably need a Reverse Osmosis unit.
But please note that good quality Reverse Osmosis filters are expensive and are ofter "overkill" for what most UK customers need.
Usually all you need for filtering UK tap water is to remove chlorine, like this filter above does perfectly well. Then you've basically got bottle water quality!

Connector Size
