Unfortunately t,his is a hugely overpriced filter - competitors are selling these for £88 - rather a lot for what is essentially a piece of moulded plastic with burnt coconut shell inside!
If you're unlucky enough to be the owner of a fridge that takes these we would suggest you try to remove the filter and hopefully water will still flow into the fridge.
We know this works for the Hotpoint fridge.
So simply remove the filter from the fridge (twist it 1/4 turn left and pull it out). Then turn on the tap and see if water comes out. If it does that's great. You don't need that overpriced filter. You're in business.
If you still want filtered water you can simply fit an external / inline filter. Just put it in line anywhere on the plastic water tube going into the fridge (turn off the water supply and cut the tube with scissors. then insert the filter. If you change your mind later it is easy to get a straight connector for about £5 to join the tube back up).
