This "Ultimate" Fridge Ice and Water Filter Compatible Cartridge can replace several makes of filters in various fridges .

This is replacement filter is compatible with most AEG, Electrolux / Frigidaire fridges sold in the UK - plus many other brands.


This price is for a pair ie two units (The pictures above show ONE unit - avoid confusing the "double barrell" shape of the single unit).


Customer Information

This is our own brand compatible replacement fridge water filter. We had it specially made to save you money on "big name brand" filters. It contains high quality filtration media with a tremendous capacity to remove impurities from your drinking water. It removes pollutants such as sediment cysts lead and chlorine - significantly improving the taste of mains water.

This is a brand new unopened filter in its original packaging.

This fridge water filter must be changed every 6 months regardless of amount of water consumed - or if the fridge has been unused for more than two weeks.

This is because bacteria can grow inside the filter. Once "wet" it needs to be changed after 6 months.

We will send you a free reminder to change.

Like all fridge filters it should not be used with water that is of unknown quality - ie non mains water supplies or - without adequate disinfection before and or after the filter.


When to Change Your Pure Source 2 Compatible Replacement

This water filter has a life of up to 6 months.

The filter monitor light on the refrigerator should turn red at this stage.

However this light is based on time only. It is not any type of water quality sensor.

The filter should be replaced sooner than the 6 months if you notice any taste and odour in the water - eg chlorine.

You should also change it before 6 months if the water pressure noticeably decreases.
