Introducing the powerful new Salt-less Water Softener from UK Water Filters.

There are many benefits to softening your water.

Hard water comprises significant quantities of dissolved lime and minerals and soon causes scale to build up on anything that comes into contact with it, from sinks and toilets to shower heads and taps.

It not only looks messy but it costs you money by damaging your water using appliances and pumps and reducing the efficiency of your water boiler.

It also puts that nasty film / scum on your tea and coffee.

Plus it is bad for people with skin conditions, for example eczema.

Traditional water softeners do a good job at combating hardness / scale. But they have several problems / disadvantages.

Problems with Traditional Water Softeners:

Checkout these direct comparisons between salt / no salt water conditioners

Traditional salt-softened water is often unsafe to drink. High salt / sodium in your diet leads to raised blood pressure. This is known to be a leading source of disease and threatens both the heart and kidneys.

UK Drinking Water Regulations specify that the salt content must be below 200mg/l. However it will exceed this in many parts of the UK, where the drinking water is very hard and more salt is needed to combat it.

New Salt-less Water Softeners do not have this problem. Your water is perfectly safe to drink at all times.

Traditional Water Softeners require large quantities of salt - which is an ongoing cost (around £200 / year on average)

This involves hauling / loading heavy salt bags and, of course, the constant maintenance of adding it to the machine regularly. (Typical salt usage is about 24 bags per year but can easily be double that - depending on local water hardness).

New Salt-less Water Softener: No maintenance required at all. Just fit it and forget

Traditional Water Softeners waste water (average water flushed away is 8L per day, every day for five years).

Not only is the water water costly. Unfortunately it's also bad for the environment. The water is high sodium / brine. (Salt discharged by softeners is not removed by water treatment plants and so flows right back into the water sources).

New Salt-less Water Softeners don't require any wasteful regeneration or back washing.

Traditional Water Softeners need electric power. This costs money but also restricts where it can be sited.

Salt-free Water Softeners require no power. This is a major advantage for some in that they can be used in remote locations.

Traditional Water Softeners require annual servicing - which is rarely free !

Salt-free Water Softeners don't have this problem

Salt softened water can be corrosive to copper pipes and some appliances.

Salt-free Water Softening does not have this problem

  • Remove Existing Scale From Pipes And Appliances

  • Are very Compact - save you space

  • Last for FIVE years

PLUS
You Get Great Tasting Water

Water softeners are not water filters. Unlike filters, softeners don't improve the taste of the water. So you will still be drinking and bathing in chlorinated water.

We can supply your softener with a powerful combined Granular Activated Carbon water filter. This will remove unpleasant tasting chlorine and greatly improve the quality of your drinking AND bathing experience.

We will give this for FREE to the next 5 customers who order a no-salt softener from us. (Normal price £199)

(Please note this offer is strictly limited. So order soon to avoid disappointment.).

Renewing / Changing the Softener

How will I know when to renew

The softener will last you for between 4 to 5 years or even longer - depending on your local water hardness.

During this time you won't need to touch it at all

You will know that it is time to renew the softener when you start seeing "scale spotting" (water marks) appearing on your glass surfaces.

Renewing your salt less softener

You keep the unit. We send you out a bag of the replacement media. You simply replace it with the old resin inside the softener. This is easy to do - takes about five minuntes.

How much does it cost to renew

The replacement anti-scale sachet costs just £399.00 at 2011 prices (It will last you a further 5 years).

What's in our salt fee softeners?

Please note our salt fee softeners do NOT use Polyphosphates. These remove only 81% of Scale, release chemicals into the water and require regular replacement.

The unique media in our softeners create a ceramic template which allows the calcium ions to form into non-scaling crystals (guaranteed).

Fitting the Unit

This is an easy job for a plumber or a handyman. It should take them about an hour.

If you are good at DIY you could do it yourself. You simply need to know how to cut a copper pipe.

Full instructions are supplied. And support is available - though it's highly unlikely this will be required.

Your Money Back Guarantee

Please note: We are so confident that our unit will outperform the competition that we are offering you a 3 year performance guarantee.

Testimonial

We appreciate that it is difficult to believe everything you read on the internet.

How do you know our claims are at all valid?

Wentworth Homes are a leading builder of quality homes.

Here is what they said about the salt free water softener that they tested:

"...was installed in a new plumbing system at Mount Stewart, Ottershaw as an alternative to a traditional salt based water softener.

It was fitted in a Utility cupboard underneath the sink and comprised the main unit (approximately 190mm diameter x 500mm tall), with a 20 micron sediment post filter.*

Installation was straight forward and did not require a power supply or waste.

Treated water is plumbed to all outlets in the house including the Kitchen sink, bathrooms and washing machine.

Mains water in the area is generally very hard.

The unit has been in operation for some 10 months and has been maintenance free.

There has been no build up of scale in appliances and water marks on chrome fittings from scale are minimal. T

he water quality is excellent and there has been a marked decrease in the quantity of soap required.

The water is potable and tastes good.

This system has performed exceptionally well.

We consider it to be a viable alternative to traditional salt based softeners.
