First, you need to decide whether you want to filter your drinking water only or filter the whole of your house.
Removing Metals From Your Drinking / Cooking Water Only.
We recommend a reverse osmosis water filter. This will remove at least 95% of any contaminant - regardless of the quality of your water supply.

You could use a Whole of House Reverse Osmosis. That would be the Gold Standard.
Or you could combine a "point of use" Reverse Osmosis , under the sink in your kitchen (as above), for your drinking and cooking water combined with one of the filters below.
For Off-Grid Properties: Removing Metals From the Water Supply to Your House / the Entire Building
This solution is to greatly reduce metals from your whole house / building particularly where these is a chronic problem with the supply water (ie the issue isn't just from old lead pipes etc - which is when the whole house Reverse Osmosis would usually be more appropriate).
This is usually supplied to rural off-grid (ie off the mains) areas.
