The great majority of water filter plastic in/out tubing is a quarter of an inch Outside Diameter size ie 6.4 mm.

This adapter allows you to insert 1/4 inch (6.4mm) OD tubing tube into a water filter housing that has 3/8th inch NPTF female screwthread.

To make sure you have the right size tube please measure your tubing.

You need to get the Outside Diameter measurement ie from outside edge to outside edge.
