The TFCART and DWFCART are classic "inline" carbon filter cartridges.They are perfect for reducing unwanted tastes and odors, including chlorine taste & odor, dissolved and volatile organic chemicals (VOCs). from potable drinking water.
While we don't stock the original TF-CART or DWF-CART cartridges, our own brand special "inline" replacement cartridge have the same performance power of reducing the above contaminants.
This is a top quality taste and odour in line water filter using Granular Activated Carbon technology to remove contaminants such as chlorine.
Fitting Your New Filter
This should be very easy. All you do basically is take the tubing out of your old TF-CART and push them into your new one.
Full and easy fitting instructions are supplied.
More About The Connectors
This TFCART / DWFCART replacement uses female connectors - ie where the tube fits directly into the filter.
The connectors are designed to fit plastic water tubes a quarter inch ie 6.4 mm outside diameter.
This is the size of most TFCART / DWFCART filters.
However if your tube size is different, no problem. We can supply adaptors. Simply let us know either before or after you order.
If you are not sure of your tube size you can simply order your TFCART or DWFCART replacement now and we will help you sort out the adapters later. They will still be free. We'll send them out immediately. It really is very simple.
If you need tube adaptors, they usually cost £4.

This is a great filter and usually does what most people in the UK need. Its performance is the same as the old TFCART / DWFCART filter.
However, if you want to remove a specific contaminant, and cannot see it in the table above - for example fluoride, hormones, heavy metals, and so on - then you probably need a Reverse Osmosis unit.
But please note that good quality Reverse Osmosis filters are expensive and are ofter "overkill" for what most UK customers need.
Usually all you need for filtering UK tap water is to remove chlorine, like this filter above does perfectly well. Then you've basically got bottle water quality!
