What the Filter Removes
The combined water filter and water softener controls bacteriaand other micro organisms for example e-coli, removes trace and heavymetals, plus chlorineand many organic contaminants.
It is also very effective atremoving scalefrom the water whilst leaving beneficial calcium in the water.

Technical
Fitting the Filter
Fitting the unit would require a plumber to put it in line with the relevant water supply.
The job should take approx 2 hours. Full instructions supplied for the plumber.
Replacing the Unit
You will need to replace the used filter every 2 years
No maintenance is required during this time.
At the end of its life the filter needs to be replaced fully with a new one. However if you return the old casing after purchase we will refund you (amount depends on size - see links below, or call us for further details).
Certification
The active ceramics have won NSF 42 approval. This is the internationally recognised american standard for drinking water media and products.
