Iron Removal from Tap Water

There are various ways to remove iron from water

One process for example involves a two stage process.

Air (or ozone) oxidizes the iron which is then removed on a multi-media catalytic filter bed.

The system is highly efficient in the removal of all types of iron.

It also reduces Manganese and Hydrogen Sulphide.

Running costs are very low as the filter bed is very durable and is cleaned by automatic backwashing.

The air injection system works by venturi so no compressor is required.
