How to add an anti-scale filter to your Classic Pod
Great news — the Classic Under Sink Purity Pod is designed to pair perfectly with an optional anti-scale filter, giving you beautifully purified and descaled water.
How it works
Your Classic pod connects directly to your cold water kitchen tap, filtering all your everyday drinking and cooking water at a normal tap flow rate.
The anti-scale filter works a little differently — it needs a much slower flow rate to do its job properly. That's why we include a dedicated mini tap for your worktop, which you use specifically for water that needs descaling — perfect for filling your kettle when you're making tea or coffee.
Say goodbye to that cloudy scum and greasy film on your hot drinks for good!
How to connect everything up
Everything you need comes in the box. Here's what the installation looks like:
- Grab a standard 15mm T-Piece — available from any DIY or plumbing store, or buy one here.
- Wrap the T-Piece screw threads with PTFE tape.
- Connect the two Pod housings using the T-Piece, then run the flexi hose - supplied with the Classic Pod - up to your cold water tap. From now on, every time you turn on your main cold tap, your water comes out at a normal flow rate, beautifully filtered. But it's not descaled. That requires the second pod - with the anti-scale filter
- This antiscale pod comes with an extra mini tap which you fix to your kitchen countertop.

Whenever you open the mini tap (to fill your kettle, for example), the water flows through both housings (first the Classic pod then the Anti Scale+). Now you get both filtered and descaled water at a flow rate of up to 3 litres per minute.
