Instructions for Installing Your Boiling Tap Filter

Fitting Instructions for your new Boiling Water tap water filter replacement. (Inst-HT-Rep)

Thank you again for your order. Please refer to your original manufacturer's instructions as well as the below.

1) Remove Old Filter 

1. Turn off the power and water supply to your boiling water tap system
2. Open your sink top tap to relieve pressure. 
3. Take old filter and disconnect tubing from both ends 

(TIP: To release the "python grip" of the quick connector: Push the collet IN with your thumbnail while pulling the inserted end). You can see a video on this here

2) Fitting Your New Filter

(a) Simply insert the tubing ends into your new filter - follow the same in/out flow direction.

(b) Give both ends a sharp tug to make sure they are held securely.

3) Flush Your New Filter Through

Turn power and water supply back on and run water through for AT LEAST two minutes plus.

This is to remove any natural carbon dust and trapped air.

When water runs clear it’s ready to use.

4) Check for leaks when flushing

AND double check for leaks 10 minutes later.

Important Note re Reminders

To avoid long term bacteria build-up it is important to change or disconnect your water filter on time.
